How Long Is a TUE Valid?
Each TUE has an end date, usually matching your treatment plan, and never longer than 10 years. It expires automatically and isn't renewed for you. Apply again with updated medical information well before it expires; WFDF's 90-day target applies to renewals too. For a stable long-term condition, send your current prescription, a recent clinical review, evidence that the diagnosis and treatment benefit continue, and anything condition-specific WFDF asks for. An expired TUE doesn't protect you.
